Sturdy and colorful
It fits the phone Moto Power 5g perfectly. It has good quality. Sturdy, good phone case. I like that it was available in several colors and shipped fast.

Fits OK
The protective case fit is acceptable, but not real snug like others. To date, I don’t know if it will be looser when exposed to the hot summer outside weathers here or not? The major reason for the 4 star rate is the screen protector wipe, labeled “Wet” is dry as a bone and useless for removal of any factory screen prints. The blue, light block protector is a nice idea and fits the screen perfectly, although has a corner pulled from removing the extra stuck “front” sticker label. You can not argue with the inexpensive price.

Less expensive than most, but…
Update 3/11/24. Wireless charging: My old USB C charging card works fine under my protective case and outside the phone case. It is a slow charge at 1 amp, but that is much better for a battery longevity than fast charging.Original review: First, for T-Mobile users: because I bought the phone on Amazon instead of from T-Mobile (which was not offered online) I could not go to the local T-Mobile store to do the data migration to the new phone like I did going TO the Moto g power 2021 that I bought at that store. So, I had to do it myself.My previous moto g power (2021) had none of the problems/deficiencies the 2023 model has as listed below. It seems Motorola actually built a bit less capable phone as a successor to its 2021 model except for 4g to 5g technology, much more storage (~65GB to 256GB) and better USB data transfer.1. There is no voice recorder. So it cannot record voice or sound files (for ringtones or notification sounds, memos or any other use). Bummer.2.Migrating/transferring from old phone to new missed or corrupted many files & whole categories, like text messages & phone call log – all backed up to Google Drive daily which should have been an easy copy. Migration gives no option to back up, try the transfer again from scratch or to re-attempt something missed. So, manual restore must be used from Drive for missing items later. Perhaps returning phone to factory setting might have worked to start the process again, but I didn’t think of trying before doing all the set up work manually.Please note that the transfer method was Bluetooth since the wi-fi method aborted before any transfer actually started because of my finger touching “home” by accident. The migration software would not allow returning to the previous screen or starting over even no data had yet been moved. So I had to proceed to a different method – Bluetooth in my case being much less than proficient in this sort of thing.3. The only thing on the mini SD card on my old phone was photos prior to migration to this new moto g power 2023. After migration there were, in addition to photos, many individual, unidentifiable files and many system files that should be on the internal memory . Also, some photos from old phone showed up on the internal storage of the 2023 moto g power. What a mess to sort out unlike a Windows drag and drop file transfer within the same computer. 4. When migrating my photos which were stored only on the mini-SD card it screwed up the folder structure to include only the lowest hierarchy folder in each category (what actually contained photos, not just higher hierarchy folders with thumbnail) and then duplicated every one of those folders with photos requiring about two hours of deletion and then reorganization. The moral of this story is be VERY careful during the included transfer process — and have only ONE wireless device (your old phone) connected other than the new phone to your network since the “connect-to” screen does not label wireless devices from your local network by the name you gave it in your router software, or that I could recognize, but only with a number/letter “identifier.” I couldn’t tell what was the old phone, an irrigation controller, Roku & for the other 7 connected devices, hence getting my fingers in the wrong place while trying to sort it out causing a “I’m ignoring your input now. Go forward or nowhere” non-response that I could not get back into after disconnecting everything from the network but the old phone. I could only go forward to a different connect method – Bluetooth in my case (notoriously unreliable for file data transmission). I would like to have been able to use a type C cable and do the data transfer but the 2021 moto g power didn’t show any files when the 2023 moto went looking for them – empty folder. In hindsight perhaps I should have purchased a data transfer program like EaseUS or others offer.5. Battery does not last as long as the incredibly long lasting 2021 model in similar use. But is not a problem for my use.6. I could not change “turn off” phone from power button with sound up or down button to just power button hold like the 2021 model. Manual says it can be done and referred me to “Gestures”, but I could not find there or anywhere I looked.7. The selection of wallpapers is too limited & includes only busy designs that would compete with buttons and text visibility. I was forced to get an app from the PlayStore, and with free use I was subjected to a LOT of ad pain more invasive than anything I’ve seen before.8. The sound, vibrate, silent settings used to be quick. Now it is a bit slower because of design.This phone is one of the most “affordable” despite being a hundred dollars more than I paid for the 2021 version, but there is some pain to go through with the deletions of some capabilities and some redesigns that just don’t make sense — kind of like Windows every time a new version comes out. Hope this helps avoid some of the pain I suffered with planning the process better.
