Purchased, as I felt it was time for a more updated model (my old model not getting the next iteration of the OS ans soon won’t be getting regular security updates. I looked at the S24+ but reading the reviews on Android forums I opted for the S23+ as I saved £250 straight away, got a set of earbuds and a further £100 in the Trio promotion making it reasonable in the schem of things for Galaxy S models.My experience so far is that I made the right choice not just in the saving by not by the most current model but in the benefits of the OS upgrade. Good phone.

Love the phone 512GB but unfortunately the so called “gorilla glass” rofl should be called “wimp glass” sooooo easily scratched make sure you get or use glass protector before you use it

After dragging this out for one year because I wasnât sure if it would come with single or double sim slot, I finally decided to take the plunge.Surprise!! It came with dual physical sim slot + eSIM.The phone is smooth and works well. I love the weight and itâs so beautiful. I got it in green but was disappointed it looked more silver than green (expected a deep green shade). But I can live with that.I intend to hold on to this for 2 to 3 years before switching devices. So far, itâs been a great buy.P.S I got the S23+ 512GB (with a £250 discount)The only downside is that every screen protector Iâve got so far doesnât make it easy to use the finger print reader. I can live with that since face unlock exists, but it would be nice to have my finger identified at the first try.

Had this phone for just over 7 months now.Had absolutely no issues with it and has been a great experience.Build quality and performance are both superb.First time with a flagship Samsung and happy to have made the upgrade from cheaper Android brands

UPDATE:After some further ‘chatting’ with Amazon, they did agree to refund, but refused to replace. It took some time, but this has now happened. Since the phone is now dearer at Amazon, I had to buy another S23 elsewhere…Phone 5*,Samsung support 3* (offering a repair-by-post and being without on a new, faulty product is not good and I lost some data),Amazon support – initially 1* now 3.5* (Why couldn’t they replace?! Seems odd, and might put me off buying expensive tech from Amazon in future).ORIGINAL REVIEW:I really do love this phone. It’s fast, has a great camera, great screen, fantastic battery life, and was working flawlessly until an update about a week ago.Unless it’s an almighty coincidence, this was when the top speaker (used for phone calls) stopped working. The only way I can make or receive calls is on speaker phone! Stereo plays over ear buds but only the right on the phone itself.Samsung assistants have confirmed that the only thing left is to totally wipe the phone and then return it ‘for repair’. They could not say how long. Amazon will not help either as it’s over 4 weeks old!?! This is Amazon’s return window.I am dependant on my phone for work and cannot be without for an unspecified time, so I’m left with a phone that can’t be used as a phone.Very, very disappointed at the lack of help.
