I purchased this high quality rock, gemstone, and mineral collection for my grandson. He was very excited to get it because it has a good variety of nice size rocks. It arrived with each piece individually wrapped to keep dust to a minimum. The case is attractive and sturdy and it has a colorful identification chart. My grandson loves rocks and he loved this rock collection. A magnifying glass and brush are included. I taught science for many years and this is one of the best collections I have ever seen. It would be great for rock enthusiasts and elementary classrooms. I would purchase it again if I needed a second kit for another grandson.

This is a fine collection at reasonable price. Thereâs a pretty good variety of rocks & minerals (though I admit, I would have liked to see some pyrite and an amethyst cluster). I like that each piece is a good size and comes in its natural, unpolished state. The samples are individually wrapped in little clear plastic bags, which is good because, being in their natural state, they are a bit gritty. The box is well-made; attractive and sturdy and has a helpful chart showing pictures and names of the rocks. The magnifying glass & brush are great additions. I am quite pleased with the quality of this collection.

Beautiful set. All the stones were a nice size and quite colorful. A little mineral oil and theyâll get even more colorful! Even the case was very sturdy and a great place to store them. The magnifying glass and brush were a nice touch. Great value!!!

The rocks are of a decent size and each piece was wrapped and placed in its own compartment in a handsome looking box. The box also holds an identification chart, a magnifying glass and a brush. A picture identifying each rock was on the inner cover of the box. A neat package to introduce a new enthusiast to the world of minerals and rocks. Suitable for 5-105 depending on how it is used. Makes a good gift for the right person. Bought it for a curious 6 year-old.

My 7 year old has been collecting rocks for a few years now and we wanted to add some larger samples to his collection, especially after getting a new collection from National Geographic that had so many tiny pebble like rocks. This set is fantastic and had a lot of new variety for our little rock enthusiast. It comes packaged in a great foam case with info on all the rocks, as well as a small magnifying glass and brush for cleaning them. Worth the money for sure.
