In this size most of the beads have a great deal of transparency which is considered desirable when assessing jade. Dark inclusions throughout are to be expected and give it a very natural look. Really nice piece for the price. Got it and then seeing how small it looked and felt I gave it to my mother for her to wear on her upcoming trip to Ireland. It actually looks great next to the multi-tone Lithuanian beaded amber bracelet I already got her. That has bright yellow to deep cherry amber beads. This has a nice, natural glow to it. Other than a small (walnut sized) carved bear, this is my first experience with Canadian nephrite jade, though I am very familiar with and have lots of Burmese (Myanmar) Type A jadeite jade. I can see why the Chinese government allows BC nephrite to be sold as Hetian green jade nephrite . A tad lighter and yellower than genuine green Heitian in my opinion, at least in this size/or whichever boulder(s) it came from. Looks smaller than it sounds but no stars off for my poor idea of mental measurements. Definitely worth the price and has nice packaging. Larger wrists be warned though. It will be tight and the beads could look quite very small depending on your size. Exactly as advertised, slightly better quality than I was expecting for what I think is a very fair price.
